Police are investigating after two bodies were found in a shipping container in a small town in the state’s Central West this morning.
Emergency services were called to Gulgong, a historic goldmining town about 30 kilometres north of Mudgee, about 11am on Saturday, where police officers discovered two bodies in a shipping container.
Police have descended on the historic town of Gulgong following the discovery of the bodies.
The bodies are yet to be identified and police are yet to determine how long they had been in the container.
A crime scene has been established and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
