The popular Z Flip lineup from Samsung first launched in 2020, and the latest iterations of the company's foldable phones have now hit shelves. We first saw the brand-new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 at this year's Unpacked event on July 10, which showed off plenty of cool new hardware, including the Galaxy Ring and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but if you're hoping to upgrade to the latest and greatest of the Z Flip lineup with all the bells and whistles, the wait is over.

There are plenty of reasons to consider an upgrade. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, along with a 6.7-inch AMOLED main screen and a 3.4-inch AMOLED cover screen. For photos and videos, the Z Flip 6 has a 10-megapixel front camera and a rear dual camera setup, with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera. The phones come with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

According to Samsung, with wired charging, you should be able to get the 4,000-mAh battery up to a 50% charge in about half an hour. And it comes equipped with the latest version of the company's software, known as One UI 6.

You can select from several colors, but some options are only available directly from Samsung. Variants you can find at multiple retailers include silver shadow, yellow, blue and mint. Crafted black, white and peach are Samsung exclusives.

Best unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 6 deals
There are no direct savings on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 right now at Samsung. If you order your new Galaxy Z Flip 6 directly from Samsung, you can still get a great price if you have an eligible trade-in.
Right now you can get an unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 6 directly from Samsung and receive up to $650 trade-in credit and double the storage for free. That essentially gets you the 256GB model for $550 and the 512GB model for $770.
Additionally, you can save 25% off a pair of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Watch Ultra or the Galaxy Watch 7 with your purchase of the Z Flip 6.
Like at Samsung, Amazon is doubling the storage for free, meaning you can nab the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 6 for just $1,100. Plus, Amazon is sweetening the deal with a bonus $200 gift card thrown in with your purchase, essentially netting you a savings value of $320.
Best Buy is offering $250 worth of Best Buy gift cards with your purchase of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and a one-month Xbox Game Pass membership.
Plus, if you trade in an eligible phone, you can receive up to $460 in trade-in credit.
Best Galaxy Z Flip 6 deals with a carrier
While AT&T is not offering direct discounts on the Z Flip 6 currently, there are ways you can save. The carrier is offering up to $1,100 off with an eligible trade-in, which nets you this phone for free. You will need to pick or upgrade to an unlimited plan.
As for the trade-in offer, the requirements are pretty generous. You can trade in any Galaxy S, Note or Z Series smartphone from any year, in any condition or an eligible smartphone with trade-in value of $35 or higher. Just note that the savings will be paid out over 36 months via monthly credit installments.
T-Mobile is not currently offering direct savings on the Z Flip 6, if you have an eligible device to trade in you could save up to $1,100. You'll get that savings back via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a new line on a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan. Already a T-Mobile customer? You can also score these same savings if you trade in an eligible device on those same two plans. That gets you this phone for free.
Eligible devices include Samsung Galaxy S9 and newer, Note 9 and newer, and any of the Z series lineup, as well as Apple iPhone 11 and newer, One Plus 9 Pro 5G and newer, Google Pixel 6 and newer, and Motorola Razr Plus 2023. Some older models may be eligible to receive up to $550 off.
If you're not on those plans, there are also trade-in deals available that can get you up to $500 off.
Right now Xfinity Mobile is offering customers up to $800 in savings on a new Galaxy Z Flip 6 phone. To score the deal, new customers can transfer their number and get a new line with Xfinity Mobile to get $800 in device credits applied to their monthly statement. Existing customers can upgrade a device, scoring up to $800 in credits when they trade in their old phone.
But even if you don't have a device to trade in, you can still score a $500 device discount.
There are no direct discounts at the carrier right now, Verizon is offering up to $800 in savings when you get a new line and trade in your old phone. Verizon is currently taking select phones in any condition -- but you must be on one of the company's eligible Unlimited plans (Plus or Ultimate) to take advantage of this deal. You'll receive your trade-in credit over 36 months.
