The 2024 Summer Olympics are underway in Paris, France.

Australians will be competing in events including rowing, basketball and canoe slalom on day four of the Games. 

Because of the time difference, it'll be night time on Tuesday in Australia when many of those events kick off.

Here's what's on the schedule for day four of the Paris Olympics.

What are some of the key events Australians are competing in on day four?

All times have been converted to AEST.

Triathlon

  • 4pm: Men's individual: Matthew Hauser and Luke Willian

Rowing

  • 5:30pm: women's single sculls quarterfinals: Tara Rigney
  • 6:50pm: women's double sculls semifinals: Amanda Bateman and Harriet Hudson
  • 7:30pm: women's four repechages: Olympia Aldersey, Jean Mitchell, Lily Alton and Molly Goodman

Swimming

  • 7:15pm: Men's 100m freestyle heats: Kyle Chalmers and William Yang (semifinals at 4:30am)
  • 8:39pm: Women's 100m freestyle heats: Mollie O'Callaghan and Shayna Jack (semifinals at 5:25am)
  • 9:08pm: Men's 4x200m freestyle heats (final at 6:01am)
  • 4:56am: Women's 100m backstroke final: Kaylee McKeown
  • 5:02am: Men's 800m freestyle final: Elijah Winnington

Basketball

  • 9:30pm: men's group phase: Australia vs Canada

Canoe Slalom

  • 11pm: women's canoe single heats: Jessica Fox

Rugby sevens

The Olympics will be broadcast free-to-air on Channel Nine and 9Gem.
