The Matildas are set to play 2024 Olympic silver medallists Brazil in two international friendlies in Queensland.
Currently coached by interim boss Tom Sermanni, the Matildas will likely hope to have a full-time coach in charge by the time those friendlies roll out.
The opening match will take place at Brisbane's Lang Park on November 28, where the Matildas will play for the first time since the FIFA Women's World Cup.
The Seleção return to Brisbane for the first time since the 2023 World Cup, where they lost 2-1 to France in the group stages, while Australia last played there in the third-place play-off defeat to Sweden.
The ground was also host to the Matildas' dramatic penalty shoot out victory against France in the quarterfinals.
The two teams will then head to the Gold Coast for a second international at Robina Stadium on December 1.

"We are delighted to return to Queensland following last year's record-breaking FIFA Women's World Cup," Football Australia CEO James Johnson said.
"We are extremely pleased to have the Matildas return home against a powerhouse football nation in Brazil.
"Suncorp Stadium holds incredible memories for Australian football and to revisit a city and stadium that was central to such an historic night for Australian football will be special."
Brazil is set to host the next Women's World Cup in 2027.
Australia and Brazil have not met in a women's international since 2021.
On that occasion the two teams played out a 2-2 draw at the Western Sydney Stadium, with Clare Polkinghorne and Sam Kerr establishing a 2-0 lead before Brazil hit back late, ending a run of six-straight victories for the Aussies over Brazil.
The Matildas have not lost to Brazil since the quarterfinals of the 2016 Olympic Games, where Brazil won 7-6 on penalties after a goalless draw at the Mineirão in in Belo Horizonte.
The sides have met 21 times since 1988, with the Aussies winning 11 of those matches, with eight defeats and two draws.
Brazil will likely be without their most capped international, Marta, with the 38-year-old saying the Olympic final defeat to the USA in Paris was "likely" to be her last appearance in a Brazil shirt, although added she would not "disappear from football".
Following the matches against Brazil, the Matildas will play Chinese Taipei on Wednesday, December 4 in Melbourne, and on Saturday, December 7 in Geelong.
The Matildas are also set to play Germany away in the October international window.
