Apple's updated AirPods Max wireless headphones include a new USB-C port and a slew of new colors and right now they're available for the lowest price we've seen to date. Amazon will sell you some of the best wireless headphones around for just $487, although the colors available at that price are limited.

At the time of writing the orange AirPods Max are being offered for the best price, but these discounts do tend to be volatile which means it's worth checking the price of your preferred color before you place your order. The full list of new colors available for buyers of Apple's updated headphones includes midnight, starlight, blue, purple and orange. Each pair comes with a color-matched smart case, too.

In terms of features, these headphones are essentially identical to the previous AirPods Max albeit with the addition of a USB-C port in lieu of the previous Lightning port. The switch means that the same charging cable can be used across all of Apple's latest hardware releases including iPads, Macs, iPhones and accessories.

You can expect strong active noise cancelation performance as well as instant device pairing and switching thanks to Apple's H1 chip. Support for personalized spatial audio and the excellent transparency mode are also included.
