Election Day is here, and keeping up with crucial live news coverage doesn't require you to have a cable subscription or live TV streaming service. You can stream broadcasts for free on multiple platforms, from the latest on the presidential election to your local ballot. This includes accessing news networks via their apps or social media feeds like TikTok or YouTube or with a free streaming service. All you need is a decent internet connection or data plan

The services below consist of standard broadcast-style and cable news as well as international and local options.

Watch live election 2024 news on TikTok, YouTube or X

These news networks will be streaming election coverage on their websites and social media accounts. 

PBS News: Watch presidential and congressional election news starting at 7 p.m. ET on PBS News' TikTok or YouTube.

CBS News: Click to watch livestreams via its accounts on X or YouTube at 4 p.m. ET or at CBSNews.com.

NBC News: Stream live on NBCNews.comXNBC News TikTok or YouTube starting at 6 p.m. ET.

ABC News: ABC News Live will broadcast on YouTube at 8 a.m. ET, TikTokX, ABC News Radio and the ABC News app.

Fox News: Visit FoxNews.com, the outlet's YouTube channel broadcast at 7 p.m. ET, X or Fox News TikTok.

Bloomberg: Stream Bloomberg via YouTube at 7 p.m. ET.

C-SPAN: Watch Election Night news without commercials on C-SPAN.org.

All of the above apps offer a familiar TV experience with a program guide and on-demand content. Together, they offer a variety of news channels, and these are streamable via their collective sites as well as on their respective video streaming apps. If you want more local live TV options, you can also hang an indoor antenna, a simple process that lets you watch news and other programming free from broadcasters in your area.

Stream live news on Hulu, Max, Peacock or Disney Plus

A basic $10 subscription to Hulu, Disney Plus or Max will grant you access to several live news feeds if you have a paid subscription. Max has CNN Max available at no extra cost, while Disney Plus and Hulu are streaming special election coverage via ABC News Live. And if you already have one of Peacock's subscription plans, you can watch NBC News Now all night for its election programming.
