Microsoft added the remastered Spyro trilogy to Game Pass earlier in November, letting subscribers play as the iconic purple dragon. Now, Microsoft is taking subscribers back to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone in the sequel to the award-winning Stalker.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate -- a CNET Editors' Choice award pick -- offers hundreds of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One and PC or mobile device for $20 a month. A subscription gets you access to a large library of games, with new titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 added every month, plus other benefits, such as online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

Here are all the titles Game Pass subscribers can play now. You can also check out the games Microsoft added to the service earlier in November

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

The Chornobyl Exclusion Zone was established in the wake of the 1986 Chornobyl disaster. It is one of the most radioactively contaminated areas on earth, and you get to explore it in this highly anticipated sequel. But you're not alone. Mutated animals, humans and other dangerous creatures roam the zone. So choose your path wisely, and maybe you'll survive. You might even shape the future of mankind.

Genshin Impact rewards

This free-to-play open-world adventure RPG is now on Xbox Series X and Series S for both Game Pass and non-Game Pass subscribers alike. However, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will receive rewards in their in-game mailbox. These rewards are recurring, but the first batch includes:

  • 1 Northlander Billet Trove
  • 2 Intertwined Fate
  • 10 Hero's Wit
  • 100,000 Mora
  • 15 Mystic Enhancement Ore

Little Kitty, Big City (console)

Microsoft added this game to Game Pass in May, and now Game Pass Standard subscribers can play it as well. All you really need to know about this game is that you play as a cat exploring the city and making friends. Oh, and you can wear hats! A bunny ear hat, an apple hat, a frog hat, just all manner of cute hats. The trailer says you have to find your way back home, but there are a lot of pots on walls you can tip over. So sure, you can go home, but again, there are pots. I know what I'll be doing.

PlateUp (console)

Other Game Pass subscribers have been able to play this game since February, and Game Pass Standard subscribers can play it now, too. Have you thought about starting your own restaurant, or just caught up on The Bear and want more chaos? If so, you should give this a try. PlateUp is a cooking action game that lets you experience the ups and downs of the restaurant business without any of the financial risk. You design your restaurant and kitchen, cook up dishes and plan out who's working which shift so your new place thrives.

Nine Sols

Don't let the cute cat-like hero fool you, this game can be brutal. This 2D action platformer is about revenge. You play as an ancient hero who awakes from a 500-year slumber to embark on a vengeful journey against those who imprisoned them. The hand-drawn art style and gameplay inspired by Sekiro make this a uniquely challenging and beautiful game.

Aliens: Dark Descent

Command a squad to stop a new type of xenomorph on a far-flung planet in this game based on the Alien film series. Customize your squad with different soldier classes, level up your abilities and arsenal, and face off against one of the deadliest creatures in the galaxy. Will you and your team fall prey like many before you, or will you lead them to victory?

Games that left Game Pass

While Microsoft added those games to Game Pass, it removed nine others from the service. So if you still have to finish your campaign or any side quests, you'll have to buy these games separately.
