Location is making Thornton a hotspot for buyers, with a home at 9 Mountain View Crescent selling for $1.135 million.
The five bedroom property was on the market for four weeks, with 35 groups through the home.
Selling agent Joey Lustri of Elders Real Estate Penrith said that Thornton was expanding rapidly and was very tightly held as a result.
“You don’t get this type of quality close to the station, it is a very rare opportunity,” he said.
New infrastructure is being built all around Thornton and Penrith, making it an attractive location for families and investors.
Homes in Thornton are brand new and are of a high quality. Designed by Clarendon Homes, a granite kitchen, private balcony and outdoor terrace all come with the home.
Both parties were said to be happy with the sale, with the buyers loving the quality and proximity to the station.
