From the gender pay gap to battling unconscious bias and the lack of female role models in the C-suite, women in the retail industry are still fighting against discrimination in the workplace.

While gender-based discrimination was outlawed in 1984, a report from the government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) last week revealed that inequality still exists in the workplace.
