The most important weekend of Canberra sport this year has arrived.

Join the Cayman Islands (Caden Helmers and Eamonn Tiernan) as they discuss what the Brumbies and Raiders must do to keep their seasons alive this weekend.

The Brumbies will look to snap a 10-game losing streak against Kiwi opposition when they host the Wellington Hurricanes in a knockout final at Canberra Stadium on Friday night.

The Hurricanes are the reigning Super Rugby champions and boast the best attack in the competition which was on full display when they belted the Brumbies 56-21 in Wellington earlier this season.

However, Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham has trump card up his sleeve in 19-Test Wallaby Christian Lealiifano who will make an emotional return less than one year after being diagnosed with leukemia.

The Raiders returned to winning ways against St George last week but the Green Machine are walking the finals tightrope and next face table-toppers Melbourne on Saturday night.

Canberra must win six of their final seven games to clinch a finals berth and upsetting the Storm in the capital could be all it takes to kick-start their charge into the postseason.

They'll have to do it without their best player after Josh Papalii who was slapped with a two-game ban for hitting Dragons fullback Josh Dugan with a shoulder charge.

Meanwhile, Michael Matthews tastes success at the Tour de France and the boys talk combat sports in the ACT.

Tune in for another blockbuster!
