Wireless earbuds are of course great for jogging and exercise workouts, but don't overlook their usefulness for the weekly vacuuming or just dancing around the house late at night when everyone is asleep.
The BackBeat FIT 305 wireless Bluetooth earbuds ($129.95) are light and comfortable. There's no noise cancelling, but these little buds blocked out my noisy vacuum cleaner.
The sound is amazing for such small earbuds; Adele belting out 'Hello' sounds incredible, with clean high notes. And Tex Perkins and his guitar sound rich and better than usual, if that's even possible.
There's no music leaking from the buds, so my partner was happily meditating oblivious to the loud music going on in my head.
The hoops or wings at the top of the earbud help keep them in the ear, which worked really well for me on a jog through the local park. There's a removable clip at the back of the cord to stick on your t-shirt, but it's more annoying than useful. And if you're inclined, you can interrupt the music to take a call.
