Zlatan Ibrahimovic simply doesn't score ordinary goals, but even by his standards, his 500th career goal was special.
The former Barcelona and Manchester United star has a black belt in taekwondo, and used those skills on the field to devastating effect in Toronto.
With his LA Galaxy side trailing 3-0 in the first half against Toronto, Ibrahimovic directed the ball in off the post with an incredible, roundhouse spinning kick from a Jonathan dos Santos ball forward just before half time.
That goal seemed to inspire the Galaxy as they completed a remarkable turn around to pull level at 3-3 midway through the second half, although Toronto went on to win the match, 5-3.
It is not the first time the former Sweden international has scored a golazo in the MLS.
Ibrahimovic's first goal for the Galaxy was a 40 yard wonder strike that made the score 3-3 in the Los Angeles derby, following that up with a 90th minute winner in his debut match.
The 36-year-old striker has played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe through out his career, punctuating his time at the top level with a series of unbelievable goals.
Possibly his most memorable strike came against England in an international in 2012, a flying bicycle kick from 30 yards out while running away from goal.
That was his fourth goal of the match and gave his side a 4-2 victory.
The Swedish star was awarded the 2013 FIFA Puskas Award — given to the "most beautiful" goal of the year — for that strike.
Ibrahimovic now joins Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as being the only active players to score 500 goals for club and country, and marked the occasion in a typically understated way.
