A sexual harassment case has been filed against Telstra by a former contractor who alleges her boss victimised and discriminated against her when she worked for the mobile provider.

The telecommunications company is facing claims that a former employee sexually harassed one of the contractors he managed between August 2016 and September 2017.

Sources close to the case said the alleged harassment involves inappropriate comments and messages.

The plaintiff's claim says she is seeking an apology from Telstra and her former boss David Coli, as well as the payment of her medical expenses, lost wages, interest and costs, and other damages.
