Queensland police have released new vision of a man who allegedly assaulted Brisbane bus passengers in separate attacks late last year leaving his victims with facial injuries.
- A 40-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were allegedly assaulted while sitting on Brisbane buses
- Both victims were left with facial injuries
- Police believe the same man is responsible for the assaults and have released new CCTV of him
CCTV footage shows a 40-year-old man sitting on a bus as it stopped on Maundrell Terrace in Chermside West on December 9, when another man, dressed in a red shirt and jeans, appears to punch him in the head.
The man in the red shirt then leaves the bus.
The 40-year-old sustained facial injuries in the attack.
In another incident on December 12, video appears to show a man police believe is the same man responsible for the earlier alleged assault, striking an 18-year-old woman seated near the door as the bus stopped on South Pine Road at Everton Park.
The woman, who suffered facial injuries, can be seen holding her hands to her face as the man leaves the bus.
Police have today released new vision of the man entering a camping and adventure store at Everton Park in an effort to find him.
Investigators are asking anyone who uses the bus network in Brisbane's north and who witnessed the incidents to come forward, as well as anyone who may have been a victim of a similar incident.
