The Australian dollar has fallen Monday, buying 70.80 US cents from 71.08 US cents on Friday.

On Friday, the local currency was at 71.13 US cents, down from 71.46 US cents on Thursday.

The local currency has risen Thursday, buying 71.16 US cents from 70.76 US cents on Wednesday.

It had fallen against its US counterpart Wednesday, buying 70.92 US cents from 71.03 US cents on Tuesday. And was at 70.80 US cents Monday morning last week.
