Here's what you need to know this morning.
Police car hit by alleged drunk driver
A 57-year-old man three times over the blood alcohol limit crashed into a parked police car yesterday in Toongabbie, in Sydney's north-west.
The man reversed into the police car on Station Road, which was unoccupied at the time.
He returned a breath analysis reading of 0.162 and has been charged with high-range drink driving.
'I am disturbed'
Some Sydney Swans fans have criticised their club for political bias after Liberal candidate for Wentworth Dave Sharma appeared front and centre at a funding announcement.
Mr Sharma accompanied Treasurer Josh Frydenberg to a press conference at the SCG with Swans chief executive Tom Harley on a pledged $15 million for new facilities.
There has since been a backlash on the Swans' social media channels, with many members saying the club has been "sucked into partisan politicking".
"As a 20 year Swans member I am disturbed to see my club being used in such a partisan way. Extremely bad call. Know a number of other long term members that feel the same," Elizabeth Seymour said.
A Sydney Swans spokeswoman said the Government invited Mr Sharma to be part of the announcement.
Six lives lost in 'Go Slow'
In the first 48 hours of the state's Anzac weekend road safety operation there have already been six fatalities on NSW roads.
Police have so far responded to hundreds of serious crashes with five of the six deaths due to single-vehicle crashes, two of which were motorcycles.
The 'Go Slow' operation ends on Sunday.
Sydney light rail disruption
This weekend buses will replace light rail services to allow for construction work to take place on the CBD and South East Light Rail project.
Services between Convention and Dulwich Hill will run as normal between 6.00am and 11.00pm but outside of those times will not run at all.
Buses will replace light rail between Central and The Star at all times through the day and night.
