The Australian dollar has fallen Thursday, buying 70.14 US cents from Tuesday’s 70.32 US cents.
The local currency hit a more than five-month high of 70.32 US cents on December 31.
One Australian dollar buys 76.26 Japanese yen from 76.12; 62.55 euro cents from 62.50; 52.93 British pence from 53.34.
