BAYLEY Fritsch won't take to the field for Melbourne in its first Marsh Community Series match against Adelaide at Casey Fields on Saturday due to illness.

The change opens up more time for Demons draftee Kysaiah Pickett as he gets his first chance in the forward line.

Melbourne will line up with 25 players for the clash.

The Crows will go in as selected, but will use 22 players in each half and rotate four players at the main break.
