Some of the grandest highlights of the boutique include a sumptuously curved staircase and two impressive handcrafted mosaic glass tile portraits of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress of France, Joséphine de Beauharnais, which lead to the men’s and women’s departments.

The store was designed by Carbondale, which specialises in luxury retail and has previously worked with Dolce & Gabbana on its stores in Milan, Venice and Rome. The agency also designed the Paspaley Pearls stores in Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as Tag Heuer and Florsheim in Sydney, Longchamp in New York and London and several Louis Vuitton stores around the world.
