The Australian dollar has fallen over the weekend to 71.53 US cents, compared to the 72.10 US cents seen at the end of last week. 

The Aussie dollar is also buying $1.07 New Zealand dollars, 60.6 Euro cents, 54.5 British pence, 4.97 Chinese yuan renminbi and 75.5 Japanese yen.
