South Australia's border restrictions with south-eastern Queensland, including Brisbane, will relax on Friday.

From then, people travelling to South Australia will need to be tested on days one, five and 13, but will not have to quarantine.

People who are in home quarantine after returning from the region will also be able to leave their homes from 12:01am on Friday.

However, new visitors from south-east Queensland will be banned from events with more than 1,000 people and high-risk settings such as aged care.

The rules for those people are in line with those from Townsville and Birdsville.

There will be no change to border restrictions with the ACT.

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens denied the national capital was being unfairly treated.

"We can only go on the advice we’re provided," he said.

"The advice in this point in time diverts us to a point where we’re not prepared to move on [the] ACT at this stage.

"We’re holding the restrictions as they currently are, but, as with all restrictions, they are regularly reviewed."

Tailem Bend exposure site revealed

The South Australian Government has also revealed one exposure site that the removalists from Sydney visited while possibly infectious with COVID–19.

They stopped at the Shell service station in Tailem Bend on the evening of Friday, July 9.

Anyone who was at that business between 5:20pm and 7:00pm will now have to self-isolate and get tested.

Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Emily Kirkpatrick said there were no new coronavirus cases recorded in South Australia yesterday.

There are now 19 active cases in the state but none in hospital after two patients were discharged.

More than 5,200 tests were conducted yesterday, Dr Kirkpatrick said.

About 660,000 vaccine doses have been handed out in South Australia so far, the Premier said.
