ACCESS Canberra visited 117 businesses yesterday (August 28) to monitor Friday’s “click and collect” concessions for small business.

They reported “strong compliance”. 

Here’s the latest lockdown list of daily statistics

  • Thirteen new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.
  • Of these, all 13 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters, with eight in quarantine during their infectious period and five in the community for part of their infectious period.
  • Twenty cases have recovered, which means there are now 230 active cases associated with this outbreak.
  • As of 9am today ACT Health is working with more than 800 people who have self-identified as close contacts of ACT outbreaks. This is down from more than 18,000 last week. 
  • There are 10 patients in ACT hospitals, including one in intensive care and requiring ventilation. None are vaccinated. 
  • More than 3650 covid tests were collected across the ACT yesterday.
  • ACT Pathology and private providers returned 2074 negative test results in the 24 hours to 9am today. 
  • Total vaccine doses administered across the ACT now stands at 223,621.
  • 31,000 vaccines have been administered in the past week.
  • 141,791 people in the ACT are fully vaccinated; this represents 41.2 per cent of the eligible population 16 years and older. 
  • There are 181 current exposure locations listed for the ACT. 
  • Police made 526 traffic stops yesterday and ordered 17 people out of the ACT.
