Good afternoon, Canberra. The territory has recorded 15 new COVID cases. Today will mark five weeks since the ACT entered lockdown with 556 cases of COVID-19 detected since the outbreak began. New cases have been detected in surrounding NSW communities and the virus has been detected in Narooma and Bermagui sewage. The ACT government is facing pressure on a number of fronts on its COVID response. A number of businesses are waiting for support to flow through from the government. Meanwhile, health experts have added their voices to the push for classroom-based learning to return. While Canberrans have showed their readiness to get a jab, Chief Minister Andrew Barr has questioned how long term a vaccine passport would be imposed on Australians lives.
