2022 is a big year at the box office, as huge sequels and blockbusters are hitting theaters and streaming services. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is about to hit, while Top Gun: Maverick was a flyaway smash and DC and Marvel continued their multiple multiverses starring Batman, Black Adam, Thor, Doctor Strange and more.

Knives Out, Hocus Pocus and Avatar also have launched or will launch long-awaited sequels, but there are a few original movies in there too, like Amsterdam, Don't Worry Darling and Everything Everywhere All at Once -- even if Blade, Fantastic Four, The Flash and Madame Web are among the flicks still being hit by delays.
