St George Illawarra winger Madison Bartlett has been suspended for one match after pleading guilty to a biting charge at the NRLW judiciary.
- Bartlett was referred straight to the judiciary
- The suspension rules her out of Sunday's match against the Broncos
- The Dragons will also be without Kody House, who was banned for one match
Bartlett was referred straight to the judiciary following an incident involving Parramatta's Sereana Naitokatoka in the first half of the Dragons' 10-0 win over the Eels in Wollongong on Sunday.
Naitokatoka tackled Bartlett, appearing to have her left arm wrapped across her opponent's face.
Bartlett claimed her actions were a "reflex clench" and not a voluntary action when Naitokatoka's arm made contact.
NRL counsellor Lachlan Giles sought a suspension of up to three weeks, but the judiciary panel decided Bartlett would only be banned for one match.
Bartlett will miss the Dragons' clash with three-time premiers Brisbane at the Western Sydney Stadium on Sunday.
The Dragons will also be without back rower Kody House, who accepted a one-match ban for a shoulder charge.
The Broncos and Dragons are the only two unbeaten teams following two rounds of the minor premiership.
