Assembly Label has launched the second Re-Worn collection program, which will also be available to shop online.
The collection contains 30 pieces and features basic items including denim, tees, linen pieces and knitwear from past seasons. According to the brand, all of the pieces “were returned by the previous owners through Assembly Label’s much loved Re-Worn program and have been carefully laundered and repaired.”
First launched last year, the program aims to extend the life cycle of its clothing and support a circular economy. Customers can return Assembly Label clothes they are no longer using to Assembly Label stores across Australia to create new pieces from previous collections.
“Re-Worn was inspired by some of the incredible circular practices and resource recovery work that we’ve seen achieved internationally,” said Lee Thompson, CEO.
“Last year, our program was successfully brought to life by our hardworking team and we are now expanding the offering to our online store, reaching all of our customers across Australia. The response and ongoing demand for this initiative from our community has been overwhelmingly positive, and our Fitzroy pilot last year has given us the confidence to keep building on this offering.“
The Re-Worn collection is available to purchase in-store at Assembly Label Fitzroy as well as online.
