Halo Infinite multiplayer Season 2 is off to a “bumpy” start, developer 343 Industries has admitted.
While players are responding well to new maps and modes, they’re not as enthusiastic about new problems that have arisen.
Chief among them are buggy Spartan challenges and, worse still, weapons that are unintentionally jamming during play.
“Hey Spartans, this week has been bumpy,” 343 Industries’ Joseph Staten said.
“That definitely wasn’t our goal. We are indeed taking your feedback to heart, especially regarding map jumps and speedrunning. We’re reviewing options and will have more news to come.”
“The ‘jamming’ that’s happening to semi-automatic weapons (most noticeably the BR) is not an intended mechanic,” 343’s John Junyszek added.
“It’s a bug that was introduced when addressing a rapid-fire exploit. We’re working on a fix now.”
