Here's a quick wrap of each Australian jurisdiction's latest COVID-19 statistics for Saturday, July 30.

New South Wales

The state recorded 13,425 new COVID-19 cases and 46 deaths in the 24 hours up to 4pm yesterday. 

There were 2,210 in hospital with the virus, with 68 of those in ICU.

Victoria

The state recorded 61 COVID-19-related deaths in the latest reporting period. 

There were 837 people in hospital, including 38 in ICU.

There were 8,937 new cases.

Northern Territory

The territory has recorded 303 new COVID-19 cases in the latest reporting period.

There are 56 in hospital with the virus.

Australian Capital Territory

The ACT has reported 719 new COVID-19 cases and two lives lost in the latest reporting period.

There are 152 people in hospital with the virus.

Queensland

Due to an administrative error, Queensland has reported 18,678 new cases.

These case numbers include infections from as far back as June 10.

This means Queensland's case numbers in recent weeks have been higher than those reported in daily totals. 

There are 861 people in hospital with the virus, and 30 of those are in ICU. 

Queensland does not report COVID-19 death numbers on weekends.

South Australia

The state has reported 2,767 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

There are 335 people in hospital with the virus, and 10 of them are in ICU. 

Four deaths were also reported.

Western Australia

Western Australia has reported 4,034 new COVID-19 cases.

There are 417 people in hospital with the virus, and 15 of them are in ICU.

The state reported 13 new deaths on Saturday, with the new deaths dating back as far as July 17.

Tasmania

Tasmania has recorded 923 new COVID-19 cases. 

There are 144 people with COVID-19 in hospital, four of those are in ICU.

One new death was recorded in the state on Saturday.
