QLD:
Queensland health authorities are aware of 16,304 active COVID cases across the state, with 2,216 positive tests reported in the past day.
Another 12 people have died and 343 people are being treated in hospital for the virus.
NSW:
Another 29 people in New South Wales have died with COVID-19 in the latest reporting period.
The state has recorded 5,790 new cases and there are 1,836 people in hospital.
ACT:
Health authorities in Canberra have confirmed another 252 positive COVID cases, bringing the number of known active cases to 1,463.
Two people are in ICU with the virus and 109 are hospitalised in total.
TAS:
Two COVID patients are being treated in intensive care in Tasmania, with 42 people hospitalised with the virus in total.
The state has recorded 244 new cases and one virus-related death in the past day.
SA:
A man aged in his 80s has died with COVID as South Australia records 749 new cases of the virus.
Up-to-date hospitalisation data is currently unavailable due to a delay in data verification, but as of yesterday there were 257 people being treated in hospital, eight in intensive care and one requiring a ventilator.
WA:
Western Australia has recorded 1,366 new COVID cases to 6pm last night.
Six people are in intensive care and 225 are hospitalised with COVID-19 in total.
