Queensland
Queensland health authorities are aware of 14,081 active COVID cases across the state, with 1,125 positive tests reported in the past day.
Death numbers are not reported on Sunday or Monday and 288 people are being treated in hospital for the virus.
New South Wales
Another five people in New South Wales have died with COVID-19 in the latest reporting period.
The state has recorded 4,160 new cases and there are 1,821 people in hospital.
Australian Capital Territory
Health authorities in Canberra have confirmed another 175 positive COVID cases, bringing the number of known active cases to 1,394.
Three people are in ICU with the virus and 104 are hospitalised in total.
Western Australia
Western Australia recorded 1,055 new COVID cases in the 24 hours to 6pm yesterday.
Six people are in intensive care and 228 are hospitalised with COVID-19 in total.
One person died in the latest reporting period.
Victoria
There have been nine deaths recorded in Victoria in the latest reporting period.
There are 372 people hospitalised with COVID-19, with 23 in intensive care and six requiring ventilation.
The state recorded 2,099 new cases.
Northern Territory
There are 14 people in hospital with COVID-19 in the NT.
The territory reported 63 new cases on Sunday and no new deaths.
Tasmania
The state has reported 178 new cases and no new deaths.
There are 30 people in hospital with COVID-19, including one in ICU.
South Australia
The state has reported 439 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths.
There are 153 cases in hospital, with seven people in ICU.
