Australia has wrapped up its ODI series against Bangladesh with another comprehensive eight-wicket victory in Dhaka, skittling the hosts for under 100 for a third straight game.

After bowling Bangladesh out for 89, it took Australia just 18.3 overs to chase down the paltry target, completing the 3-0 sweep of the 50-over games.

Alyssa Healy won the toss and chose to bowl in the third game at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and, after bowling Bangladesh out for 95 and 97 in the first two clashes, a short contest was always on the cards.

That was immediately made all the more likely when openers Sumaiya Akter (0) and Fargana Hoque (5) were both dismissed by the end of the third over.

Wickets continued to fall at a steady pace, with Fahima Khatun and Nahida Akter also out for ducks, while only two partnerships were worth 20 runs.

Captain Nigar Sultana (16) and Shorna Akter (10) briefly stopped the bleeding for seven overs before Sultana was caught behind to the spin of recalled veteran Sophie Molineux, while the final-wicket pairing of Sultana Khatun and Marufa Akter showed the most resistance, with 26 off 22 balls.

Australia's extras tally of 20 (six leg byes and 14 wides) outscored every Bangladeshi batter.
