Peach PRC hasn’t always been comfortable on stage. She shot to stardom on TikTok during the pandemic, and those who have followed her know Peach’s transition to live shows took working through nerves and mishaps.

But on Saturday, for the final show of her biggest headline tour, the pop princess was in her element. Decked out in a cheeky pink one-piece, Peach took concertgoers confidently through her discography, from her first single Blondes (2019) to her latest release Secret (2024).

Peach PRC played an unreleased song titled “Touchy Subject”.

A spicy but graceful pole dance segment set the show apart, with Peach expertly working the pole and reclaiming the skills she first developed while working as a stripper.

Just as she is in her TikToks, Peach was endearing in her candour, especially during her acoustic set, sat on a couch among living room props with a teddy bear. “I really struggle with playing the guitar,” she admitted as she introduced her melancholy unreleased song Touchy Subject.

While many fans who have watched Peach’s bedroom confessions and raw songwriting over the years would have instantly connected with her hits, there was a missed opportunity to draw in newer fans with some less rushed talking between songs.

Peach PRC repeatedly nailed high notes while bringing a playful energy to the stage.

Nonetheless, Peach’s most vulnerable pieces including Heavy (2021) and Dinner Inner Child (2023) were soulfully delivered. A slightly overpowering bass sometimes drowned out her vocals, but at other times, the bass, synth and rock elements added exhilarating layers to the performance.

Although the show was a relatively small-scale production, every element played a discernible role, contributing to a product that was greater than the sum of its parts. The two back-up dancers brought bold moves which complemented Peach, and the electric guitarist was excellent, especially during Peach’s hyperpop hit God Is A Freak (2022).
