Jessica Fox's Paris Olympics preparations have been given a boost, with her winning gold in the women's kayak final at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Kraków, Poland.

It was Fox's fourth World Cup medal in the past three weeks.

Fox, who was fourth after the heats stage, produced a penalty-free performance (93.49) in the final to finish ahead of France's Maialen Chourraut (94.24) and Ria Sribar (99.03) of the United States.

"It's been a tough weekend but the third World Cup really fell into place for me there in the kayak and I'm really happy with the way I raced," Fox said.

"It's a great way to finish off this first block of World Cup racing. We've really built into it over the past few weeks."

Fox said she was satisfied with her Olympic preparations ahead of the Paris Games beginning next month.

"We've got a bit of a break until Paris and an opportunity to get some good training in on the course, so overall I'm just really happy with how the build-up to the Games has been going," she said.

Fox will be competing at her fourth Olympics in Paris.

She is a four-time Olympic medallist, her tally highlighted by winning gold in the women's C-1 slalom at the Tokyo Games.
