Jesse Moore wants company at the Los Angeles Olympics after qualifying as the only Australian gymnast in the men's all-around final in Paris.
The 21-year-old was the first Australian to make the final since Josh Jeffries at the London Games.
Moore finished 21st, impressing on the vault and an improved routine on the pommel horse, his favoured event.
The next step for Moore is Australia to qualify a men's team for the 2028 Games.
"I'm glad I could finally conquer that pommel routine. All that was going through my head was to finish strong and I did that," he said.
"The goal is to push for a team next time and over the next four years, we'll be striving for that."
Japan's Oka Shinnosuke scored 86.832 to win the gold medal, .233 ahead of China's Zhang Boheng.
Xiao Routeng, also from China, was .468 behind for bronze with Moore scoring 80.430 across the six sections.
