From their debut foldable to today's Pixel 9 Pro Fold, in the world of Android phones, the Google Pixel lineup frequents our list of the best phones you can buy. The latest Pixel 9 models are giving both Apple and Samsung phones a run for their money. Pixel phones tend to be much more affordable than their counterparts, but that doesn't exactly mean they're the definition of cheap, especially the Pixel Pro and XL models. Luckily, we've found plenty of ways to score a Pixel phone at a price that won't give you sticker shock.

An important note for bargain hunters: About a month ago, Google revealed the new Pixel 9 models during a live event. That means prices on older models, such as last year's Pixel 8 Pro and the original Pixel Fold, have slowly started falling. They might not be the newest, shiniest tech out there anymore, but we're still fans of plenty of earlier models, such as the Pixel 7A. They're still great phones, and you don't have to spend too much money to get one. Availability is becoming scarcer, especially on the Pixel 6 lineup.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money

We've compiled the best deals across all the Pixel models happening right now. If you see a deal you want to take advantage of, be quick about it. Phone carriers and other retailers offering discounts on phones and accessories can change these prices at their discretion and without notice.

Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 XL and 9 Pro Fold deals

Just introduced, the new Pixel 9 series phones come with a fresh design and are jam-packed with AI features. Generative AI pops up in many places, like the weather app and the all-new image-generation app. The new design uses flat edges and has a more defined camera bar. At an impressive 6.8 inches, the XL model is the largest phone created by Google yet. The Pixel 9 retails for $799, the 9 Pro is going for $999, the new XL model is also now selling for $1,099 and the Pro Fold starts at $1,799.

Verizon is offering the Google Pixel for free or up to $800 off the 9 Pro and up to $1,000 off in trade-in credit on the 9 Pro or 9 Pro Fold when you trade in any phone from Google, Apple or Samsung and add a new line. The best part is the phone can be in any condition.

AT&T is offering the brand-new Google Pixel 9 Pro or XL phone for free when you trade in another Pixel phone, any model or year. If you're looking to get the Google Pixel 9, you can get one for just $11 per month instead of the usual $24 per month.

When you add a line or trade in an eligible device on Go5G Plus or Go5G Next, you get the Pixel 9, 9 Pro and Pro XL for free and up to $1,000 off the 9 Pro Fold.

If you purchase directly through Google, you can save up to $760 on the Pixel 9 Pro or Pro XL with an eligible trade-in. If you opt to join Google Fi's phone plan, you can get up to $500 back any of the brand-new Google Pixel 9 models. Keep in mind that this offer isn't valid for existing Google Fi customers. You'll also get Gemini Advanced for free for one year, a $239 value.

Google also sells carrier models, so right now you can get $100 off the Pixel 9 lineup from AT&T and up to $1,000 off if you prefer Verizon.

Best Buy isn't offering current discounts on the Pixel 9 lineup unless you want its help connecting through a carrier. It has a decent trade-in program that can net you hundreds of dollars in savings depending on the device you want to trade-in.

There aren't any big discounts on the Pixel 9 lineup right now, but if you have a device to trade in, you can knock some money off the total. Plus, existing customers may qualify for a free year of service with their current Buy One, Get One. You have to purchase two new unlimited data mobile lines and have an internet subscription for more than 90 days to qualify.

There are no discounts on Pixel 9 phones at Target right now, but this tends to change from time to time. If you have a Target Circle™️ credit card* you can save 5% on your total purchase.

Right now, Spectrum is offering a $500 savings on the 9 Pro XL, plus an additional $100 off if you trade in an eligible phone.

Pixel 8 and 8 Pro deals

Released in late 2023, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro were the latest phones in Google's flagship lineup until the release of the Pixel 9. The Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are equipped with a next-gen Tensor G3 processor, new AI features and improved screens. Right now, these models, and deals on them, are a little scarce so it's mostly trade-in credit offers.

There are no current discounts on Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro phones, but they are in stock and there is potential for savings via trade-in credit. Exactly how much will depend on what you're trading in, of course.

Although AT&T is also not offering any direct savings on Pixel 8 or 8 Pro phones right now, it does have them in stock, and you can potentially save via its trade-in program on eligible devices.

AT&T also has an online-only deal that you can save $150 off any new line with an eligible unlimited plan.

Verizon currently has both the Pixel 8 and the 8 Pro in stock online only. Though Verizon has no discounts, there is always the potential to save with a trade in.

Right now the unlocked Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are discounted directly at Best Buy. You can score the Pixel 8 for $200 off, bringing that price down to $499. The Pixel 8 Pro is $375 off, so that drops to $624.

In addition, you can get up to $325 in trade-in credit. You also get three months of Google One (100GB storage) with either Pixel phone.

If you opt to connect to a carrier through Best Buy, you can save an additional $100 on either model. Some Best Buy locations also have open-box versions, which can help you maximize savings.

Pixel 8A deals

The Pixel 8A is new -- we just reviewed it in May -- and at its unlocked list price of $500, it's a tremendous value. Let's see if we can make it even better.

AT&T is now offering new and existing customers the Google Pixel 8A for just $6 per month if you purchase outright or on an installment plan on an eligible plan. You can then receive bill credits of up to $304. AT&T is also offering a free AT&T AmiGO Jr. watch with this phone (requires an eligible separate line).

Google is currently offering the Pixel 8A at a $100 discount, bringing this affordable phone down to $399. You can also get trade-in credit with the potential to save more.

Best Buy's current discount is a straightforward $100 off the unlocked Pixel 8A. If you opt for a carrier model, you can save an additional $100 off the regular price. There is also potential to save more with a trade-in.

Verizon isn't currently offering any discounts on the Google Pixel 8A, but you can save with a trade-in.

Right now, T-Mobile is offering the Pixel 8A for free if you add a new line, no trade-in required. If you do have a phone to trade, as long as you have the Go5G, Magenta or One plan, you can get up to $500 in trade-in credit via bill credits over 24 months, which nets the phone for free. There is a one-time $35 device connection charge. Naturally, the newer-model phones will get you the highest trade-in credit.

Right now, Mint Mobile has the Google Pixel 8A on sale for $100 off. Plus, when you purchase one year of wireless, you'll get half of that for free. This applies only to the obsidian 128GB variant.

You can get $100 off when you bring in a qualifying device to trade in and purchase and activate the Pixel 8A through Spectrum. You may also qualify for more savings in the form of trade-in credit, depending on the device you decide to swap.

Right now, you can score an unlocked Pixel 8A on Amazon for $100 less, making it just $399. This deal is on par with those offered from Best Buy and Google right now, and Amazon is even offering the mint green color.

Pixel 7 and 7 Pro deals

The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro hit shelves in October 2022, and you'll find them in stock and available at most major retailers and carriers. Whether you're looking for an unlocked model, have an older device to trade in or need a new service plan through a carrier, several offers are available to you.

Although Verizon is no longer carrying the Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 7 is still available. Currently, there are no direct discounts, but Verizon occasionally offers perks to go along with new phone purchases. These deals fluctuate, so check back often. For now, new and existing customers can get 0% APR on a new Pixel 7. The carrier is also offering free two-day shipping when you open a new line.

Mint is still carrying both the 7 and 7 Pro. Although there are no discounts on the price, if you sign up for a year of unlimited service, you'll get it for $15 a month, which is half off.

Best Buy currently carries the 7 Pro, though there is no discount on it. However, there is the potential to save through Best Buy's trade-in program. The Pixel 7 has limited availability unless you opt for a carrier option.

Pixel 7A deals

Richard Peterson/CNET

CNET's Lisa Eadicicco reviewed the budget-friendly Pixel 7A and found it has many of the same features as the Pixel 7, saying that "it has the same Tensor G2 processor as the Pixel 7, a new 64-megapixel main camera and a 6.1-inch screen just like its predecessor." It's available at a lower base price than the other models in the Pixel 7 lineup, but unless you can find it for significantly less than the 8A (or a great deal with your carrier), go for the newer phone.

Right now, Target has the 7A marked down to just $399. Only the obsidian color is in stock, and the offer isn't available in stores.

AT&T doesn't have a discount on the Pixel 7A right now, but you can potentially get trade-in credit.

Google isn't offering any screaming deals on this older model phone, but it does have some in stock. You can always save with trade-in credit, though just how much depends on what you're trading in.

Pixel Fold deals

Samsung's new generation of Z-series foldable phones has some competition from Google. The Pixel Fold was Google's very first foldable device. It features a 5.8-inch cover screen, a 7.6-inch OLED internal screen, 12GB of RAM, a Tensor G2 processor and an intimidating $1,799 starting price, although you can get your hands on one for less with the trade-in offers below. With  the release of the 9 Pro Fold we're hoping to see even more price drops on the original Fold.

While Best Buy hasn't discounted the Pixel Fold at all, you do have the potential to save with a trade-in. If you opt for a carrier model you can get $100 off.

Get an instant savings of $100 when you get the Pixel Fold, activate it and trade in a qualifying device.

The Pixel Fold isn't discounted at Verizon, but you do have the potential to save with a trade-in.
