Are Fire TV devices worthwhile?
Modern TVs generally come with smart TV functions, which means easy access to streaming apps built in. This can make these streaming devices feel obsolete, and for some people, they may well be.
However, if you've got an older model TV without streaming built-in or with a janky interface you hate, or if your TV is not capable of things like Wi-Fi 6, then getting a streaming device can be a worthwhile upgrade, especially when it can cost less than $50.
Will Fire TV devices be cheaper on Black Friday?
Given Amazon launched these Fire TV Stick deals alongside its Black Friday preview, we don't expect that they'll go much lower, if at all, on Black Friday. Amazon's sale kicks off officially on Nov. 21, though so you could wait a week and see what it brings just in case. That said, these prices are new all-time lows, even beating those set during previous Prime Day sales, so we don't anticipate any downward movement on price here.
