About Me
Containers are steel or corrugated boxes used-to store
and transport goods. Containers are designed in this way that when they're moved from transport mode to another, they don't demand unloading or
offloading. Containers are classified into four categories.
The four container categories are intermodal freight containers,
intermediate bulk containers, insulated containers and specialized containers.

Varieties of Shipping Containers

Intermodal freight containers are recyclable boxes which can be used for storage and transport between diverse
locations. Intermodal containers are categorized into; crate, wooden boxes, and corrugated boxes.
Crates are wooden containers which might be used-to transport products with unpredictable shapes.
Around the other hand, wooden boxes, are largely
used-to transport military goods that are dense and heavy.

Corrugated boxes are recyclable and so are made from fiberboard;
therefore they are light-weight.

Another kind of shipping containers is intermediate bulk
containers. They're useful for storage and transportation of fluids and bulk commodities.
They incorporate; drums, bulk boxes and flexible intermediate bulk containers.

Drums are cylindrical fit and so are employed for transport of sometimes granular or
liquid materials.

Insulated containers, to the other hand, are used for your transportation of perishable goods that are sensitive to temperatures.

They incorporate pails and unit load devices. The unit load devices are
employed for storage and transportation over aircraft.

Lastly, there are specialized containers. They are used for the transportation of unique weapons like weapons.
They incorporate; high- cube containers and transtainer.

They incorporate oil freight containers, portable oil containers, and hybrid oil containers.
