*Terms and conditions: ANZ SmartATM one millionth customer deposit

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. This promotion is open to all Australian residents.
3. The promotion commences from 9.00am on 1 May 2014 and closes after the one millionth customer has made the winning deposit at an ANZ SmartATM ("Promotional Period").
4. To be the winner of the prize on offer, the person must be the one millionth deposit customer at any ANZ SmartATM.
5. The winner will be notified by phone immediately.
6. There will be one prize-winner. The person who is the one millionth customer to make a deposit at any ANZ SmartATM will receive a cheque in the amount of $1,000. The total maximum retail prize bank value is $1,000.
7. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not exchangeable, transferable and non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash.
8. Tax implications may arise from the prize winnings. Independent advice should be sought.
9. For any prize that remains unclaimed or forfeited, ANZ will identify the next eligible winner, the one million and first customer at 9.00am on 5 September 2014, subject to any applicable law. The winner will be notified by phone immediately.
10. The winners' name and work address and photographs may be used by ANZ for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
11. ANZ is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or a consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. ANZ reserves the right to vary the rules of any competition or any prizes offered or cancel any competition if it is no longer able to run the competition due to reasons beyond its control, subject to state legislation. ANZ will not be liable for any losses to any party arising from any variation or cancellation.
