With increasing levels of inactivity and obesity in our community, the promotion of physical activity is vital to the future health of our nation. In response to this growing problem the government set 'National Physical Activity Guidelines' to inform people of the minimum levels of activity to stay healthy. This program examines these guidelines, barriers to becoming active and various models of physical activity. Its key focus is to encourage students to take a greater interest in physical activity and allows them to recognise the benefits associated with participation.
