Teachers Terry Coombs and Malcom Stapleton talk about the teaching methodologies underpinning the Aquadux water sustainability project at Harvester Technical College, Sunshine.
Aquadux, at Harvester Technical College, Sunshine (Victoria University, Melbourne Australia), is a project that provides opportunities for students to learn about water sustainability. Students participate in projects such as water-wise herb gardens, orchard development and the creation of new buildings and structures that feature water recycling. Students learn practical construction and assembly skills, OH&S, and gain broader knowledge of ecosystems. The project is supported by the Smart Water Fund.
