Over the past 5 years Google has worked with some amazing cultural organizations to enable artists, writers, curators and creators to explore and experiment with new ways to use the web, and the digital tools of contemporary society to make culture.
This video looks back at a few of those projects and forwards to what we hope to see cultural practitioners working on with us in 2014 and beyond.
We would also like to thank the many creatives, developers, digital and video agencies with whom we worked to make these projects - it is not possible without the incredible community and artistic goodwill that exists in the creative industries (especially when there is no budget).
You are all the artists. Thank you.
