Inspired by the remnants of the post punk/electronic/noise scene of the 80's, and coinciding with the rise of techno and rave culture in the early 90s, iconic Australian dance act Itch-E & Scratch-E were born.
During the years that followed Itch-E & Scratch-E, aka Andy Rantzen and Paul Mac, released album "Itch-E Kitch-E Koo" (1992) spawning the single "Sweetness and Light" which became a crossover hit, winning Australias equivalent of a Grammy for Best Dance Release.
The first taste from their new album, "Hooray For Everything!!!", due later this year, is the boundary crushing Other Planets featuring vocals from New Yorker MDNA, who Paul met years ago on tour in Paris. When Paul bumped into him five years later a collaboration was spawned around a new Itch-E and Scratch-E backing track that blew all involved away.
