Do something on the spur of the moment, on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
This advertisement, as part of the Best Backyard campaign, follows the spontaneous adventures of two intertwined holidaying groups, on their weekend on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
While a young couple casually explores the local cellar doors and settles into a glass or two of McLaren Vale wine, a young family intrepidly explore the ocean on Big Duck Boat Tours, getting up close to dolphins and sea lions.
Afterwards, the couple swap Pinot for paint brushes, as they get in touch with their creative side at Red Poles. While at the same time, the young family take to the water again, this time on bodyboards at Port Willunga beach. It's then off to the beer garden for some craft beer and live acoustic music for our couple, before a sit down meal at the Flying Fish Cafe, while the family decide takeaway fish and chips is more their scene.
And as the sun sets, the couple sit on the balcony of their accommodation at Middleton Beach Hutts, enjoying an antipasto platter and some locally produced wine, while the family return from their outing, moving into the hutt right next door.
