This is the first part of Channel Nine's Today show story on Triple Care Farm - the residential program for young people experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness or acute behavioural problems.
It aired on Monday 26th October 2009 to help Triple Care Farm overcome a critical shortage in funding.
Established in 1989, the farm provides young people with one-on-one support, personal counselling, drug and alcohol counselling and group counselling sessions - more information can be found at www.missionaustralia.com.au/triplecarefarm
As reporter Sarah Harris noted "...the critical lack of funding means that the farm can only offer 80 places a year, last year two and a half thousand young people in crisis had to be turned away..."
