Recently over 1,300 Syrian refugees crossed the border to northeast Jordan in 24 hours. More than half of them were children, and they reached the remote Ruwaished area after walking for days in the desert. The new arrivals receive immediate assistance such as blankets and water, and then begin their three day journey to Za'atari refugee camp.
