Her Excellency Quentin Bryce, Governor-General of Australia, launches the exhibition 'Glorious Days: Australia 1913' at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra on 6 March 2013. Ms Bryce highlights the role of women in Australia and the importance of Indigenous culture as portrayed in the exhibition, as she takes a retrospective look at where Australia has come from in the past 100 years, and outlines her hopes for where it may go in the next 100 years. Includes an introduction by Andrew Sayers, Director of the National Museum of Australia, a welcome to country by Ngunnawal elder Agnes Shea, and a performance by the Tango Social Club of Canberra.
