Classes are back for 2014 at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) with the midshipmen and officer cadets beginning another challenging year of military and academic training. Over the course of one day in early February, the midshipmen and officer cadets of 5 Division were accompanied throughout the day's gruelling activities by a military camera team from the 1st Joint Public Affairs Unit.
In addition to the spotlight of the camera, ADFA instructors and lecturers were challenging every midshipman and officer cadet to prove their dedication and professional from the moment they climbed out of bed to start a gruelling physical training session, to weapons training at a state-of-the-art shooting range and onto the classroom where they were introduced to academic research principles. Based on a dedicated campus in the Canberra suburb of Campbell, ADFA is a tri-service education and training institution that enables young men and women to pursue the early stages of their careers in the Australian Defence Force. Military training and university education provides ADFA students with an excellent foundation for their future roles as leaders in the ADF. Find out more: http://goo.gl/E2UMhN
