For 171 years Adelaide's Crown and Anchor has stood as a site of history and music. Now the battle is on to save the venue from big developers.

Administrators say up to 20 parties are interested in saving the embattled airline as large debts are revealed at the first creditors' meeting.

Ernst & Young confirms it has taken control of the airline after the Vanuatu government appointed it as voluntary liquidator of the company.
