The Roar have just one win this season, have conceded 17 goals and sit only above the Central Coast Mariners on the A-League table.
Speaking on Fox Sports’ Sunday Shootout, Kosmina says the Roar are still struggling to work out their style and don’t seem to be connected as a team.
“For me there’s no life in that team, there’s no spirit — they’re flat,” Kosmina said.
“I’m still trying to work out what Brisbane’s style is this season. They don’t have the rotations they used to with the two No. 6’s and John Aloisi always talks about his structures. I don’t think he’s mentioned their structures at all this season in any of the press conferences. They’re not connected as a team, the midfield don’t operate as a unit, the defending is not abysmal but it’s not far from it. It’s poor. Some of the goals they’re conceding could be so much better defended.

Only the Mariners have conceded more goals than Brisbane this season, but Aloisi has little time to work on turning things around before they travel to Sydney this weekend as the packed schedule of festive football begins.
