Canberra coach Ricky Stuart was tight-lipped as his Raiders suffered another second half capitulation in a press conference that lasted less than two minutes.

The Green Machine raced into a 10-0 lead and held the Storm at bay until the 34th minute mark.

When the Storm hit back the Raiders failed to match them as they conceded 34 unanswered points to leave them with just four wins from their opening 11 games.

It was the fourth time this season that the Raiders had blown a double-digit lead and Stuart was clearly frustrated as he addressed the media.

Here’s what was said...

Question: That’s another really tough one, the first 20 to 30 minutes it went to plan then it went away from the plan?

Stuart: Yeah, they stayed in it for a longer period than us.

Question: Can you put it down to anything?

Stuart: I’ll have to look at it again.

Question: Is it just a case of missing a lot of your first-choice players.

Stuart: No, it’s definitely not that… I’m not going to look at that as an excuse.

Question: Obviously you do pick the 17 believing they can do a job, so it’s more your attitude than who was out and in and what job they did tonight?

Stuart: Yeah, it’s not attitude.

Question: Sammy Williams was a bright spot tonight, a good performance from him?

Stuart: Yeah he always generates a bit of enthusiasm when he gets picked in first grade. He gets them around the park well.

Question: How’s Tom Starling it looked like he hurt his ankle?

Stuart: I’ll have to have a look at it again, mate, I haven’t spoke to the doc yet.

Question: The incident with Nelson Asofa-Solomona just before halftime there’s a report on that, did you see anything in that incident at all?

Stuart: I’ll have to have a look at it again.

Question: How is Charnze (Nicoll-Klokstad) it sounds like there’s some bad news in regards to Charnze?

Stuart: Yeah you’re better off talking to the doc about that.

Question: Where to from here Ricky?

Stuart: Next week mate.

Question: How do you turn thing around for the Roosters? It’s another tough game.

Stuart: Yeah another tough one next week.

Stuart’s response was described as “cold” by Fox League’s Cooper Cronk.

“That was cold, it was three-word answers to most questions and he’s super frustrated,” Cronk said. “He didn’t want to used injuries as an excuse, and it wasn’t an attitude, what is it?

“That’s the thing they need to find. I agree with that, you can’t use injuries as an excuse.

“Their attitude is strong, look at their fightback against the Dogs. It’s hard to pinpoint what it is.”
